Common use of Employer Contributions During Employee Disability Clause in Contracts

Employer Contributions During Employee Disability. (a) The specified contribution shall be paid for the following periods for employees who, because of accident or sickness disability, are absent and unable to perform work assigned by the Employer: 1. For three (3) months for employees who have been continuously employed by the Employer for five (5) years or less on the date absence for accident or sickness disability begins. 2. For six (6) months for employees who have been continuously employed by the Employer for five (5) years but less than ten (10) on the date absence for accident or sickness disability begins. 3. For nine (9) months for employees who have been continuously employed by the Employer for more than ten (10) years on the date absence for an accident or sickness disability begins.
