Common use of Employer’s Agent Clause in Contracts

Employer’s Agent. The Plan Administrator, acting on behalf of the Employer, may delegate certain authority, powers and duties to Employer’s Agent to act in those matters specified in the delegation. Any such delegation must be in writing that names and identifies the Employer’s Agent, states the effective date of the delegation, specifies the authority and duties delegated, is executed by the Plan Administrator and is acknowledged in writing by the Employer’s Agent and certified as required in Section 3.1.
