Common use of Employers’ insurance Clause in Contracts

Employers’ insurance. All employers are under obligation to purchase an insurance from an insurance company holding an operating permit in Iceland that meets the above conditions of collective agreements as regards accident insurance. In respects other than provided for in this section of the Agreement, the terms of the insurance company in question and the applicable provisions as are contained in the Act on Insurance Contracts No. 30/2004 shall apply.

All employers are under obligation shall be obliged to purchase an insurance which meets the above conditions of this collective agreement regarding accident insurance from an insurance company holding which holds an operating permit licence in Iceland that meets Iceland. Aspects of the above conditions of collective agreements as regards accident insurance. In respects other than provided for insurance not addressed in this section of the Agreement, this collective agreement shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance company in question involved and the applicable provisions as are contained in the Act on Insurance Contracts Act, No. 30/2004 shall apply30/2004.
