Common use of Employment During the Term Clause in Contracts

Employment During the Term. During the Term of Employment, Employee shall devote his full professional time to the business of the Company, shall use his best efforts to promote the interests of the Company and shall serve as Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and in such other senior executive capacities as the Board of Directors of the Company shall hereafter designate from time to time.

During the Term of Employment, Employee shall devote his Employee's full professional time to the business of the Company, shall use his Employee's best efforts to promote the interests of the Company and shall serve serve, prior to the Holding Company Restructuring, as Vice-ChairmanPresident of the Food Lion division and, after the Holding Company Restructuring, as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Subsidiary, and in such other senior executive capacities (at the Company or at subsidiaries of the Company) as the Board of Directors of the Company shall hereafter designate from time to time.
