Common use of Employment; Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1, 2000.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1, 20002002.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 112, 20001998, and the "Commencement Date" shall be January 16, 1998.

For purposes of this Agreement, the "“Effective Date" ” shall be January 1, 20002006.

Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January August 1, 20001999.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January April 1, 20001997.

Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "“Effective Date" ” shall be January 1, 2000.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1June 12, 20001997.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1the "Effective Time" as defined in the Agreement and Plan of Merger dated October __, 2000, between Company and Citizens Bankers, Inc. (the "Merger Agreement").

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of July 18, 1996 (the "Effective Date (as hereinafter definedDate") and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1, 2000.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1June 11, 20001999 and the "Commencement Date" shall be June 15, 1999.

Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall be January 1the "Effective Time" as defined in the Agreement and Plan of Merger dated October 16, 2000, between Company and Citizens Bankers, Inc. (the "Merger Agreement").
