Common use of Employment; Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall mean the date of the consummation of the Initial Public Offering.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall mean be January 12, 1998, and the date of the consummation of the Initial Public Offering"Commencement Date" shall be January 16, 1998.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall mean the date of the consummation of the Initial Public Offeringbe January 1, 2002.

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall mean be the date "Effective Time" as defined in the Agreement and Plan of Merger dated October 16, 2000, between Company and Citizens Bankers, Inc. (the consummation of the Initial Public Offering"Merger Agreement").

Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of July 18, 1996 (the "Effective Date Date") and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall mean the date of the consummation of the Initial Public Offering.

Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Employment; Effective Date. Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to be employed by Company, beginning as of the Effective Date (as hereinafter defined) and continuing for the period of time set forth in Article II 2 of this Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the "Effective Date" shall mean be June 11, 1999 and the date of the consummation of the Initial Public Offering"Commencement Date" shall be June 15, 1999.

(the consummation of the Initial Public Offering"Merger Agreement").
