Engineering Tradesperson. An Engineering Tradesperson - is an employee who holds a trade certificate (through the completion of an AQF Level III apprenticeship) or tradespersons rights certificate (through recognition by Trades Recognition Australia or Training and Employment Recognition Council) as an: (i) Engineering Tradesperson (Electrical/Electronic); (ii) Engineering Tradesperson (Mechanical); (iii) Engineering Tradesperson (Fabrication/vehicle building); (iv)or equivalent; and is able to exercise the skills and knowledge of the engineering trade so as to enable the employee to perform work within the scope of this classification.
