Engineering Workers a) Day workers - Subject to clause 6.2 (Implementation of 38 Hour Week), and subject to the exceptions provided, the ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 per week, to be worked on one of the following bases: 38 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 7 consecutive days; or 76 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 14 consecutive days; or 114 hours within a work cycle not exceeding twenty-one consecutive days; or 152 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 28 consecutive days. The ordinary hours of work prescribed for day workers may be worked on any 5 consecutive days in the week, Monday to Sunday inclusive, subject to the following: Ordinary hours worked on a Saturday or Sunday shall be paid at the applicable overtime rates specified in clause 6.6 (overtime). Any arrangement of hours which includes a Saturday or Sunday as ordinary hours shall be subject to agreement between the employer and the employee or the majority of the employees involved.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Forest Service engineering shall be completed according to the schedule in A8. Should Forest Service be unable to perform the designated survey and design by the completion date or other agreed to time, upon written agreement, Purchaser shall assume responsibility for such work. In such event, Contracting Officer shall revise:

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Engineering Services Definition: Engineering Services includes any service or creative work, the adequate performance of which requires education, training and experience in the application of special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, engineering principles. Engineering Services covered by the Xxxxxx Architect-Engineers Act (40 U.S.C. 1102) are not covered in the primary scope of OASIS SB. Examples: Service areas that are included under the Engineering Services discipline include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Contract Work The provision of goods and services identified in the Contract constitute the contract work (Contract Work). Contractor shall perform the Contract Work pursuant to the terms of the Contract. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, appliances, and appurtenances for the Contract Work in strict conformity with this Contract, within the time-period prescribed by the City.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Finishing Work It has been clearly understood by the Alottee, that the Occupancy Certificate/Completion Certificate, as the case may be, are issued by the concerned authorities, when the entire civil construction work of the apartment is complete and the apartment is in a habitable state, however, to prevent any loss or damage, the internal fittings, furnishings and finishing work is done after obtaining completion certificate/occupancy certificate as the case may be. Further the internal fittings, furnishings and finishing work may also depend upon the choice of the Allottee. Therefore to ensure that there is no loss or damage to the internal fittings, furnishings and finishing work and the same may be carried on as per the choice of the Allottee, internal works such as fitting of switch boards, doors, sanitary fittings, plumber fittings like water taps/showers etc., final colour coat on the internal walls, floor tiles or any other internal work of like nature, shall be completed after obtaining occupancy certificate/completion certificate and before handing over the possession of the apartment to the Allottee.

  • Contractor If COUNTY elects to renegotiate this Agreement due to reduced or terminated 20 funding, CONTRACTOR shall not be obligated to accept the renegotiated terms.
