Engineering Workers. Day workers - Subject to clause 6.2 (Implementation of 38 Hour Week), and subject to the exceptions provided, the ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 per week, to be worked on one of the following bases: 38 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 7 consecutive days; or 76 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 14 consecutive days; or 114 hours within a work cycle not exceeding twenty-one consecutive days; or 152 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 28 consecutive days. The ordinary hours of work prescribed for day workers may be worked on any 5 consecutive days in the week, Monday to Sunday inclusive, subject to the following: Ordinary hours worked on a Saturday or Sunday shall be paid at the applicable overtime rates specified in clause 6.6 (overtime). Any arrangement of hours which includes a Saturday or Sunday as ordinary hours shall be subject to agreement between the employer and the employee or the majority of the employees involved.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. (a) A7 to show Purchaser’s performance responsibility. (b) The Schedule of Items to include costs of survey and design, as provided under B5.24, and adjust Timber Sale Account, as provided in B5.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Shift Workers All shift workers (i.e. workers whose shift commences at or after the end of the ordinary day work hours) presenting for work when the temperature is at or over 35°C will remain on site in air conditioned amenities for a minimum two hours, holding themselves available to commence work should the temperature fall below 35°C.

  • Contract Work Contract work means capital project work within existing plant facilities, major maintenance and/or revamp work, plant modifications and/or shutdown work, minor maintenance and/or repair work, breakdown maintenance.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Contractor If COUNTY elects to renegotiate this Agreement due to reduced or terminated 20 funding, CONTRACTOR shall not be obligated to accept the renegotiated terms.
