ENTRY AGREEMENT. A. Qualifications for entry into the Engineering Rep position: • Successful completion of high school algebra or above with a grade of “C” or above. • Satisfactory completion of courses with a grade C or better in D.C. and A.C. electricity or the equivalent from an accredited university, college, junior college, technical college, military, or equivalent. One year of experience working with electricity may be considered acceptable in lieu of the D.C. and A.C. course. B. All employees entering the classification after the effective date of this Agreement will be subject to all its terms and will be given an opportunity to study the Program, the Committee policies, and requirements for completion of the Program prior to entering the classification. C. All future Engineering Representative Trainees entering the classification for the first time will be placed at wage Step 1 (0 Engineering Representative Trainee hours) and Training Module 1. If any 51 member employee’s wages would be reduced by their bid and placement in the Program, their wages would be red- circled (frozen) at their previous wage rate until such time as they would progress through the training steps that would provide them a higher wage rate. D. Engineering Representative Trainees will be allowed to exercise bidding and transfer rights while in the Program.
