Entry Probationary Period. The probationary period of a unit member filling an entry level position shall not exceed twelve (12) months in duration.

A unit member employed by the district shall be a “probationary” employee until the unit member has satisfactorily completed six months of probationary service or 130 days of paid service, whichever is longer. Any unit member who resigns from the District during the entry probationary period shall begin a new period of probation upon reemployment.
