Common use of Environmental Claims and Related Matters Clause in Contracts

Environmental Claims and Related Matters. Within 24 hours of receiving, or of any Subcontractor’s receiving, notice of any Environmental Claim, Contractor must submit copies of all documents constituting or relating to the Environmental Claim to the Law Department. Thereafter, Contractor must submit copies of related documents if requested by the Law Department. These requirements apply, regardless of whether the Environmental Claim concerns performance of this Contract. Failure to comply with any requirement of this provision is an event of default.
