Common use of Environmental Violations and Stop-Work Orders Clause in Contracts

Environmental Violations and Stop-Work Orders. Upon identification of an environmental noncompliance issue, the EM will work with the responsible subcontractor or direct-hire workers to correct the violation. If non-compliance is not corrected in a reasonable period of time, the EM shall request that EFSEC issue a “stop-work” order for that portion of the work not in compliance with Site environmental requirements. EFSEC will promptly notify the EM of any “stop work” orders that have been issued.
