Common use of EQUAL STATUS OF PARTIES Clause in Contracts

EQUAL STATUS OF PARTIES. It is understood that the Companies and the Guild are parties of equal status under this Agreement and in the administration of the arbitration processes throughout this Agreement. The equal status of the parties in the administration of the arbitration process shall be recognized in matters involving the determination of the availability of arbitrators, the selection of hearing dates, the retention of stenographic reporters, and insofar as applicable in all communications with the arbitrators. Arbitration claims, cross-claims and notices shall carry the caption "WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA - PRODUCERS ARBITRATION TRIBUNAL."
