Equivalency Program. Those teachers who are working toward advanced professional certification via the master's equivalency program will be required to present a Professional Development Plan and earn at least 36 semester hours of approved content or professional education coursework directly related to public school education earned after the conferral of the bachelor's degree to include a minimum of 21 graduate credits and a minimum of six (6) credits related to a teacher's specific discipline or a specialist's specific assignment. Records relating to this program will be kept in the personnel files.
