Common use of Escalation Clause in Contracts

Escalation. An escalation factor is not allowed unless called for in this RFP. If escalation is allowed, proposer must notify the City in writing in the event of a decline in market price(s) below the proposal price. At that time, the City will make an adjustment in the Contract or may elect to re-solicit.
