Common use of Established Business Clause in Contracts

Established Business. Prior to commencing performance of this contract, or prior to the time required by law or regulation, e.g., Chapter 18.27 WAC, Contractor shall be an established business with all required licenses, accreditation, registration, bonding, facilities, equipment and trained personnel necessary to perform the work as specified in the solicitation for bids, request for proposals or this contract. Contractor must have a Federal tax identifier number as required by Internal Revenue Service regulations and a uniform business identifier number (UBI) required by the Washington Department of Revenue. The Contractor shall provide proof of compliance with these requirements within ten (10) calendar days from the date of the request by the District.
