Common use of Established Shift Clause in Contracts

Established Shift. ‌ A. Regular shifts or regularly scheduled shifts are established shifts that consist of a specified number of consecutive hours and, subject only to paragraph B of Article VII, Section 3, the starting and ending times of each established shift shall be the same for each work day of the work schedule. B. In accordance with Article IX, Section 5, and Article VI, Section 14, assignment to such shifts shall be governed by seniority.
