Estimated Quantities and Unit Prices. If award was made in whole or in part based upon unit prices, the Contractor agrees that the prices given in the Bid are unit prices. The estimated quantities as stated in the Bid and as indicated on the plans are approximate only; are subject either to increase or decrease; and are only for the purpose of comparing on a uniform basis the Bids offered for the Project under this Contract. Contractor further agrees that, should the quantities of any of the items of the work be increased, it will perform the additional work at the unit prices set out in the Bid and that, should the quantities be decreased, payment will be made and accepted on actual quantities at the unit prices, and he will make no claim for anticipated profits for any decrease in the quantities. Actual quantities will be determined upon completion of the Project.
