Eurodollar Advances Post Default; Default Rates Clause Samples

The "Eurodollar Advances Post Default; Default Rates" clause defines how interest rates are determined for Eurodollar-denominated loans after a default event has occurred. In practice, this clause typically stipulates that, following a default, any outstanding Eurodollar advances will accrue interest at a higher default rate, which may be a specified margin above the standard rate or a rate set by the lender. This mechanism ensures that lenders are compensated for the increased risk and administrative burden associated with a borrower's default, and it incentivizes borrowers to avoid default by imposing financial consequences.
