EVALUATION AND PROBATION. New employees and employees at will shall be on probation for ninety (90) calendar days from the first day of work. Evaluations of all employees will be conducted according to the procedures outlined in Appendix A. Any credible complaint made about a member that may result in disciplinary action shall promptly be brought to the attention of the member. Consistent with the safety and preservation of law enforcement investigations, the member shall have a right to know their accuser.

EVALUATION AND PROBATION. New employees and employees at will shall be on probation for ninety (90) calendar days from the first day of work. During the 90 calendar day probationary period, all new hires will receive entry level wages for that unit. Upon completion of the probationary period, the Superintendent may place the new unit member at a pay level based on experience. Should that occur, the new hire shall receive retroactive pay for the difference between the entry level pay and the pay level to which he/she was placed for the 90 day probationary period. They shall be placed equal to or lower than current lowest members within the years of service range. Evaluations of all employees will be conducted according to the procedures outlined in Appendix A.
