Examination of Scanner by Buyer. USMS, its sub-agents or end user customers shall upon delivery as set out in Condition 6.1 (Place of Delivery) examine the Scanner and shall promptly notify Longport, and the carrier where relevant, of any damage or defect reasonably apparent on reasonable examination of the Scanner. Claims in respect of any loss of or damage to the Scanner in transit shall be made within the period set out in Condition 17 (Loss or Damage in Transit). Claims in respect of any other damage, defect or shortage must be made within 10 Business Days following the time at which the Scanner is delivered as set out in Condition 6.1 (Place of Delivery). Notwithstanding the above, claims for defects pursuant to Condition 8 (Seller's Reservation) must be made within 10 Business Days after any such defect is discovered.
