Common use of Exceptionality Clauses: Faculty Members Clause in Contracts

Exceptionality Clauses: Faculty Members. (1) Where all the applicable conditions in this Clause 25 for tenure/promotion to Associate Professor or promotion to Professor have not been met, the TPCAC, Chair, Xxxx /Administrator and the Vice-President (Academic) shall consider that exceptional performance in both areas of teaching and research/scholarship may compensate for lesser achievement in the area of administration. In assessing exceptionality, the above committee and individuals shall weigh whether the eminence of performance sufficiently outweighs any deficiencies in this area.

In assessing exceptionality, the above committee committees and individuals shall weigh whether the eminence of performance sufficiently outweighs any deficiencies in this area.
