Common use of Exclusion of Rights & Liability Clause in Contracts

Exclusion of Rights & Liability. 4.1) No licenses or other rights of any kind whatsoever shall be granted by this Agreement, nor shall any corresponding obligation to grant such rights arise herefrom. The receiving party shall not be entitled to apply for patents or other statutory property rights with the confidential information. The provision of the Confidential Information shall not give rise to any rights of prior use for the Receiving Party.
