Excuse from Performance. Neither party shall be in default of its obligations under this Agreement in the event, and for so long as, it is impossible or extremely impracticable for it to perform its obligations due to an “act of God” (including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake or other catastrophic events), civil disturbance, labor unrest of other than the party’s employees (including strike, work stoppage, slowdown, sick out, picketing, or other concerted job action), or other similar cause affecting Santa Xxxxx County, not the fault of, and beyond the reasonable control of, the party claiming excuse.
