The Undersecretary of Science and Technology of the United States Department of Homeland Security is the primary official within the Government of the United States with responsibility for executive oversight of Cooperative Activity, as defined in this Agreement, within the United States and is hereby designated as the “U.S. Executive Agent” responsible for the administration of this Agreement. The duties of the U.S. Executive Agent may be performed on his behalf by the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Science and Technology.
