Common use of Expense Clause in Contracts

Expense. The cost of compensation and expenses of the arbitrator, including the cost of a transcript unless a transcript is waived by mutual agreement of the parties and the arbitrator, shall be divided equally between the parties. However, each party shall bear its own expenses of representation and witnesses.
