Common use of Expiry Dates Clause in Contracts

Expiry Dates. No Letter of Credit shall have an expiry date later than the fifth Business Day before the Termination Date. Subject to the preceding sentence, each Letter of Credit issued hereunder shall expire on or before the anniversary of the date of such issuance; provided that the expiry date of any Letter of Credit may be extended from time to time at the Borrower's request and with the Bank's consent for a period not exceeding one year.
