Common use of Explanation and Clarification Clause in Contracts

Explanation and Clarification. It is the intent of this Amendment to make the of the Agreement consistent with the Reinsured’s normal underwriting practices and guidelines. Rather than having specific language in the Agreement referencing , the normal underwriting practices and guidelines of the Reinsured (which includes ) shall be relied upon to qualify a risk for automatic reinsurance as stated in Article I of the Agreement. This will eliminate the need for future Amendments regarding changes in the Reinsured’s underwriting practices. [page break] Amendment
