Common use of Explanatory Note Clause in Contracts

Explanatory Note. Clause 25E(1) of the Regulation requires that an explanatory notes must accompany a VPA that: a) Summarises the objectives, nature and effect of the proposed VPA, amendment or revocation, and b) Contains an assessment of the merits of the proposed VPA, an amendment or revocation include the impact (positive or negative) on the public or any relevant section of the public. A sample explanatory note can be found at Attachment B.
