Common use of EXTENDED TERMINATION BENEFITS Clause in Contracts

EXTENDED TERMINATION BENEFITS. If an employee or an eligible dependant is totally disabled on the date of termination of the employee’s insurance because of termination of employment, benefits payable under the Supplementary Hospital Expense Benefit and Supplement- ary Health Benefit will be continued in respect of the dis- abled individual during total disability for a period up to 90 days following the date of such termination.
