EXTENSION BEYOND INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD. 3.1 Subject to clause 7 (Price adjustment on extension beyond the Initial Contract Period), the Authority may, by giving written notice to the Contractor not less than [ 3 ] Months prior to the last day of the Initial Contract Period, extend the Contract for a further period or further periods of up to [12 ] Months. The maximum period for all extensions beyond the Initial Contract Period shall not exceed 24 months. The provisions of the Contract will apply (subject to any Variation or adjustment to the Contract Price pursuant to clause 7 (Price adjustment on extension of the Initial Contract Period)) throughout any such extended period.
