Common use of Extension of Insurance Clause in Contracts

Extension of Insurance. If the insurance under this provision with respect to an insured person terminates due to termination of (i) the individual's employment, (ii) the individual's membership in the class or classes of individuals eligible for insurance or (iii) the policy, and the insured person has commenced treatment covered under this provision prior to such termination, insurance under this provision with respect to the insured person will, notwithstanding the termination, be deemed to continue in force for thirty (30) days with respect to Part II charges incurred for the same treatment.
