External Advertising. While internal and external advertisements may be posted concurrently, no external applicant for any vacancy shall be considered until the applications of present Union members at the Day Care Centre have been fully processed. External advertising shall mean other Day Care Centres covered by this Collective Agreement and the general public.
External Advertising. The Employer may advertise simultaneously when posting only where it believes no current employee has the qualifications for the position advertised. In the event a current employee with the qualifications does apply for the position, he/she shall be appointed. External applicants will be considered only when no qualified internal applicant applies.
External Advertising. CAMH agrees that no external advertising for any positions will occur until all internal applications have been considered and it has been determined that none are qualified. Notwithstanding the above, CAMH may simultaneously post internally and externally for specialized and skilled positions for which it is difficult to recruit. CAMH will not review any external applications until all internal applications have been considered and it has been determined that no internal applicants are qualified.
External Advertising. The Board may advertise externally and shall not be prevented from hiring persons from outside the bargaining unit when no qualified employee applies. Where the Board advertises externally, a copy of the external advertisement will be attached to the internal job posting.
External Advertising. Union positions shall not be simultaneously internally and externally advertised without the consent of both parties. External applications will be considered only when no qualified internal applicant applies.
External Advertising. Where no application has been received from an Internal Applicant, or where the requirements of Article 17 have been fulfilled and a vacancy still exists, the Employer will determine the best manner in which to advertise the position to potential external applicants. The Employer shall post the job posting on a public platform.
External Advertising. The Corporation may advertise any vacancy internally and externally at the same time where the Corporation believes no current employees have the qualifications or experience for the position. In the event a current employee with the qualifications and experience does apply for the position, he/she shall be considered before any external applicants are considered.
External Advertising. Where no application has been received from an Internal Applicant, or where the requirements of Article 17 have been fulfilled and a vacancy still exists, the Committee will propose to the Employer the best manner in which to advertise the position to potential external applicants. Based on the Committee’s proposal, the decision on methods to be taken to advertise the position will be the sole purview of the Employer. The parties agree that the posting period will be a minimum of two (2) weeks or ten business days.

14.4.2 All internal applicants employed by Council who meet the essential criteria shall be interviewed for the position.
