Common use of External Learning Activities Clause in Contracts

External Learning Activities. A maximum of six (6) semester hours of credit may be earned through external learning activities. External Learning Activities may include: attendance at professional conferences, task forces or boards, and participation in non-District sponsored in-service programs. External Learning Activities shall include at least 15 clock hours of certificate holder involvement for each semester credit hour of credit requested. Approval from the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources is required.
