External Relations. AGSC maintains relationships with government policy makers, conducts lobbying activities and provides community relations support. Any remaining costs not directly charged or assigned will be allocated using the Composite Ratio.
External Relations. The Owner Parents and the Manager will also establish a protocol for consultation and coordination of communications with:
(a) Commonwealth and Western Australian State Authorities;
(b) the media (and analysts); and
(c) communities, in relation to all matters affecting the WA Iron Ore JV. West Australian Iron Ore Production Joint Venture Agreement
External Relations. Employees are expected to conduct work in a manner likely to xxxxxx good citizen relations and support for the agency and not generate patterns of sustained complaints. This means the employee is expected to:
A. Treat citizens with respect.
B. Refuse to accept gratuities.
C. Avoid profanity, use of racial, religious, ethnic, and sexual slurs, sarcasm, and derogatory remarks.
D. Be aware of victims’ rights and emotional well-being while conducting investigation, and remain sensitive to the needs of victims.
E. Be informed, knowledgeable, and supportive of existing local services and programs for victims.
F. Advise victims of crimes of the status and closing of investigations.
G. Provide assistance to other agencies in a timely manner.
H. Conduct self in a manner which will not generate sustained complaints or claims against you or the City of Xxxxxxx.
External Relations. 1. Cyprus shall maintain special ties of friendship with Greece and Turkey, respecting the balance established by the Treaty of Guarantee and the Treaty of Alliance and the Foundation Agreement.
2. The <component states> shall be consulted on <common state> decisions on external relations that affect their competences.
3. The <component states> may appoint representatives on commercial and cultural matters, who shall be accredited as part of diplomatic missions of Cyprus.
4. The <component states> may also conclude agreements on commercial and cultural matters with authorities of States that have relations with Cyprus, provided that such agreements do not cause prejudice to Cyprus, the authority of the <common state> government, or the other <component state>, and are compatible with the European Union membership of Cyprus.
5. In the exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 3 and 4 of this Article, the following procedures shall be observed:
a. The <component states> shall use the channel of the <common state> ministry of foreign affairs for contacts at a political level with foreign governments; and
b. The <component states> may have direct contacts with sub-entities or subordinate authorities of other states. In this case they shall inform the <common state> ministry of foreign affairs upon starting negotiations on any agreement with such authorities and continue to advise on the progress and outcome of such negotiations.
6. A Cooperation Agreement between the <common state> and the <component states> on external relations shall regulate the implementation of this Article.
External Relations. The landlord shall act alone in all dealings with governmental authorities, companies that supply utility or waste removal services, etc., in all matters that concern the property, buildings, and location infrastructure, unless he has transferred this function to the building administrator. This does not include matters relating to the type of usage or the business of the tenant.
External Relations. This corporate center includes the following major functions and the associated costs to support them including salaries of management, other professional and secretarial assistance, outside services for production of print, video and Internet communications materials, outside production costs for events and consulting fees.
A.6.2.1. Public Relations, Corporate & Financial Communications - External communication of financial, strategic and general corporate information as well as communications to announce and launch new business ventures. Audiences include national, financial, trade and local news media, stockholders, customers, trade associations and the general public. - Production of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, executive speeches, corporate brochures and videos and corporate information on Internet sites. - Communications support for unregulated business units, including: - Response to media inquiries - Pro-active media relations - Project communications - Event coordination - Selection and supervision of outside public relations firms retained for specific projects - Screening, selection and speechwriting services for speaking engagements
A.6.2.2. Corporate Branding & Promotions - Development and management of the corporate names, logotypes and brand identity standards. - Sponsorships and event marketing activities to create strong external awareness of CenterPoint and the unregulated business units. - Implementation and management of promotional opportunities created for CenterPoint and the unregulated business units through sponsorships. - Management of special events for other corporate centers such as Corporate Community Relations and the unregulated business units.
External Relations. UPC will provide assistance and advice to Overnite with respect to political action committees and lobbying and legislative matters at the Federal Congressional and Executive levels. In connection with the provision of such services by UPC’s employees, UPC’s Vice President – External Relations shall have the sole authority and discretion to determine whether such services will be provided by UPC and its employees. In addition, UPC’s Vice President—External Relations agrees to request lobbying firms or lobbyists currently employed by UPC to provide services at their hourly rate to Overnite without requiring any additional or separate retainer. UPC will have no obligation to Overnite, if such firms or individuals refuse to provide such services. Notwithstanding the foregoing or anything set forth in this Agreement, UPC will not be required to request any such lobbying firm or individual, including its own Governmental Relations staff, to provide services to Overnite that in the sole and exclusive opinion of UPC conflict with, or otherwise adversely affect, the business or interests of UPC.
External Relations. 6.1 No public statement or releases in connection with CONTRACTOR’s provision of the Services to JETRO shall be made by CONTRACTOR without first obtaining written approval of JETRO.
6.2 Unless otherwise specifically instructed by JETRO, CONTRACTOR shall not contact or otherwise provide any comment, whether formally or informally (i.e., off-the record), relating to CONTRACTOR’s provision of the Services or JETRO to any members of the media, whether on behalf of JETRO or in any other capacity.
6.3 CONTRACTOR understands and agrees that JETRO may disclose any or all part of this Agreement to the public as required by applicable law of Japan.
External Relations. (a) Where applicable, recommends to the Associate Xxxx members for the Advisory Committee(s), provides input for the agenda and attends regularly scheduled meetings.
(b) Liaises with industry and/or agencies to ensure the program gains recognition within the industry and to see that the curriculum reflects current industry practices.
(c) Encourages, through industry and professional contacts, material and financial support such as industry partnerships, product and equipment donations, scholarships, bursaries and awards.
(d) Maintains liaisons with potential employers.
(e) Liaises with peers in other educational institutes offering similar programs (such as attendance at Articulation Meetings).
External Relations. Ensures that the Corporation and its operating units contribute appropriately to the well being of their communities and industries. Represents the Corporation in community and industry affairs.
