Common use of Extra-work Contractor Allowance Clause in Contracts

Extra-work Contractor Allowance. For items of Work not listed in Schedule A for which prices are negotiated with participation of Contractor on (1) an agreed lump sum basis, (2) an agreed unit price basis, or (3) on a force account basis, Subcontractor agrees that Contractor may apply a contractor allowance in addition to Subcontractor’s costs submitted to Owner for such extra Work as the compensation for such items.
