Extracurricular and Athletic Events. In the event that a safety and security officer is required to work at a District sponsored extracurricular or athletic event outside of his or her regularly scheduled work hours, the officer will be paid a minimum of three (3) hours at his or her regular rate of pay, subject to Article 4, paragraph 4.2. If notice of cancellation is not provided to the scheduled safety and security officer at least twelve (12) hours in advance of the event, the office will be paid three (3) hours at his or her regular rate of pay subject to Article 4, paragraph 4.2.
