Facility and Discharge Information and Initial Abatement. This section shall provide a site description, history of past and present operations (including those that involve the storage, treatment, use, disposal, processing or manufacturing of materials that may be potential contaminant sources), description of all products used or manufactured and all by-products and wastes (including water constituents) generated during the life of the facility, a summary of known spills or releases of materials, including permitted releases, that may be potential contaminant sources, a description of initial abatement or source removal activities, and a list of current permits. Compiling the information above may involve the inspection of public records such as those at the local building department and DERM and the review of information such as historical land use records, Sanborne maps, and aerial photographs.
