Common use of Faculty from Cognate Departments Clause in Contracts

Faculty from Cognate Departments. Where library procedures provide for the establishment of a library search committee, and where the number of librarians eligible to serve on the search committee is insufficient to populate the search committee based on the number of members required in accordance with the library’s written procedures, the library may include tenured, tenure-track, and salaried part- time faculty from cognate departments on the search committee.
