Common use of Failed Payments Clause in Contracts

Failed Payments. If we are not able to make a payment as you directed, the transaction that you entered will be shown on the Payment History screen as a Failed Payment, and you will receive a notice of the failed payment when you sign into the Xxxx Pay Service. For example, if there are not sufficient funds in your Account on the Process Date or if other payments we have been asked to make on your behalf (such as checks you write or debit card transactions you make) would reduce the Available Balance below the amount required to make the payment, we may not make the payment. When a payment fails because of insufficient funds, we will attempt to make the payment on the following Business Day. If there are not sufficient funds in the Account on that date, your payment will not be attempted again. You will need to reschedule the payment or make other payment arrangements.
