Fair Labor Standards and Employment Practices. a. SUBGRANTEE certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations governing fair labor and employment practices. b. In carrying out this Agreement, SUBGRANTEE will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, military status, disability, age, genetic information, or sexual orientation, in making any of the following employment decisions: hiring, layoff, termination, transfer, promotion, demotion, rate of compensation, and eligibility for in-service training programs. c. SUBGRANTEE agrees to post notices affirming compliance with all applicable federal and state non-discrimination laws in conspicuous places accessible to all employees and applicants for employment. d. SUBGRANTEE will incorporate the foregoing requirements of this Paragraph 2 in all of its subgrants or subcontracts for any of the work prescribed herein.
