Familiarity with Laws, etc. 1. The Consultant shall familiarize itself with all federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations including, but not limited to, the latest amended municipal building codes, rules and regulations which in any manner affect those engaged or employed in the work, or the materials and equipment used in the work or in any way affecting the work, and no plea of misunderstanding will be considered on account of ignorance thereof. If the Consultant shall discover any provision in this Agreement, which is contrary to or inconsist- ent with any law, ordinance, rule or regulation, he shall forthwith report it to the Commission in writing.
