Federal License. In accordance with 49 CFR §§ 18.34 and 19.36, the Federal Government reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish or otherwise use, and to authorize others to use, “for Federal Government purposes,” any subject data or copyright described below. As used in the previous sentence, “for Federal Government purposes” means use only for the direct purposes of the Federal Government. Without the copyright owner’s consent, the Federal Government may not extend its Federal license to any other party:

Federal License. Contractor acknowledges that pursuant to Federal Law, the Federal Government reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish or otherwise use, and to authorize others to use, all copyrighted material and all material which can be copyrighted.

  • Mechanical License If any selection or musical composition, or any portion thereof, recorded in the New Song hereunder is written or composed by Producer, in whole or in part, alone or in collaboration with others, or is owned or controlled, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by Producer or any person, firm, or corporation in which Producer has a direct or indirect interest, then such selection and/or musical composition shall be hereinafter referred to as a “Controlled Composition”. Producer hereby agrees to issue or cause to be issued, as applicable, to Licensee, mechanical licenses in respect of each Controlled Composition, which are embodied on the New Song.
