Federal License Clause Samples
Federal License. Contractor acknowledges that pursuant to Federal Law, the Federal Government reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish or otherwise use, and to authorize others to use, all copyrighted material and all material which can be copyrighted.
Federal License. In accordance with 49 CFR §§ 18.34 and 19.36, the Federal Government reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish or otherwise use, and to authorize others to use, “for Federal Government purposes,” any subject data or copyright described below. As used in the previous sentence, “for Federal Government purposes” means use only for the direct purposes of the Federal Government. Without the copyright owner’s consent, the Federal Government may not extend its Federal license to any other party:
a. Any subject data developed under this Agreement, whether or not a copyright has been obtained; and
b. Any rights of copyright purchased by City or Contractor using Federal assistance in whole or in part provided by FTA.
Federal License. The Contractor shall deliver to the affiliated federal department supporting this contract a royalty-free, nonexclusive, and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish, or otherwise use and to authorize others to use for federal government purposes, such software, modifications, and documentation.
Federal License. In compliance with federal funding provisions supporting this contract, the following conditions, as applicable, will apply to both Procuring Agency procurement of, or subscription to, Contractor’s software.
