Common use of Federal Subordination Clause in Contracts

Federal Subordination. This Agreement shall be subordinate to the provisions of any existing or future agreements between the County and the United States of America relative to the operation and maintenance of the Airport, the execution of which has been or may be required as a condition precedent to the expenditure of Federal funds for the development of the Airport. All provisions of this Agreement shall be subordinate to the right of the United States of America to lease or otherwise assume control over the Airport, or any part thereof, during time of war or national emergency for military or naval use and any provisions of this Agreement inconsistent with the provisions of such lease to, or assumption of control by, the United States of America shall be suspended.
