Final Financial Status Reporting Requirements. Final FSRs are due on the following dates following the Agreement period end date: Project Final FSR Due Date Public Health Emergency Preparedness 11/15/2023 All Remaining Projects 11/30/2023 Upon receipt of the final FSR electronically through MI E-Grants, the Department will determine by program, if funds are owed to the Grantee or if the Grantee owes funds to the Department. If funds are owed to the Grantee, payment will be processed. However, if the Grantee underestimated their year-end obligations in the Obligation Report as compared to the final FSR and the total reimbursement requested does not exceed the Agreement amount that is due to the Grantee, the Department will make every effort to process full reimbursement to the Grantee per the final FSR. Final payment may be delayed pending final disposition of the Department’s year-end obligations. If funds are owed to the Department, it will generally not be necessary for Grantee to send in a payment. Instead, the Department will make the necessary entries to offset other payments and as a result the Grantee will receive a net monthly prepayment. When this does occur, clarifying documentation will be provided to the Grantee by the Department’s Bureau of Finance and Accounting.
