Common use of FINAL INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE Clause in Contracts

FINAL INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE. Whenever the improvements provided for by the Contract shall have been completely performed on the part of the CONTRACTOR, the CONTRACTOR shall notify the OWNER, and Engineer that the improvement is ready for final inspection. The Engineer shall then make such final inspection, and if the work is satisfactory and in accordance with the specifications and Contract Documents, the CONTRACTOR shall be issued a certificate of acceptance.
