Common use of Fire Department Charges and Extinguishing Expenses Clause in Contracts

Fire Department Charges and Extinguishing Expenses. If covered property is destroyed or damaged by a covered peril, this coverage part shall cover any fire department charges and other fire extinguishing expenses for which the covered entity may be assessed. This does not include the cost to recharge or replace a fire extinguishing system. This coverage part applies to fire department charges that are assessed upon a “per response” basis, not any annual assessment.
