Fire Suppression Division Sample Clauses

Fire Suppression Division. The hours of duty shall be an average of forty-two (42) hours per week in accordance with the provisions of the Fire Department Act. A work week shall consist of two (2) consecutive ten (10) hour day shifts commencing at 08:00 hours, immediately followed by twenty-four (24) hours off duty, immediately followed by two (2) consecutive fourteen (14) hour night shifts commencing at 18:00 hours and then four (4) days off.
Fire Suppression Division. An average of forty-two (42) hours per week working a twenty four hour shift followed by two shifts covering followed by a second 24 hour shift followed by 96 hours off.

Fire Suppression Division a. A fifty-six (56) hour work week based on fifty-three (53) hours pay (24-hour work day) shall be implemented for employees of the Fire Suppression Division. Fire suppression personnel shall work a three (3) platoon, twenty-four (24) hour shift. The twenty-four (24) hour shift shall be scheduled to commence at 0700 hours and continues through to 0700 hours the following day. Fire suppression personnel shall work a fifty- three (53) hour average work week. No employee will work over seventy - two (72) hours straight unless approved by the Fire Chief. c. Fire Suppression Division. The working period of each employee shall be the equivalent of forty-two (42) hours per week. This shall be accomplished by a two platoon system scheduled so that there will be four (4) consecutive days of work followed by four (4) consecutive days of rest.
