Common use of Floor Space Clause in Contracts

Floor Space. The floor space charge includes reasonable charges for lighting, heat, air conditioning, ventilation and other allocated expenses associated with maintenance of the Central Office but does not include amperage necessary to power COMPASS's equipment. When the Collocation Space is enclosed , COMPASS shall pay floor space charges based upon the number of square feet so enclosed. When the Collocation Space is not enclosed, COMPASS shall pay floor space charges based upon the following floor space calculation: [(depth of the equipment lineup in which the rack is placed) + (0.5 x maintenance aisle depth) + (0.5 x wiring aisle depth)] X (width of rack and spacers).
