  • wire Unbundled ISDN Digital Loops These will be provisioned according to industry standards for 2-Wire Basic Rate ISDN services and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a DLR. NewPhone will be responsible for providing BellSouth with a Service Profile Identifier (SPID) associated with a particular ISDN-capable Loop and customer. With the SPID, BellSouth will be able to adequately test the circuit and ensure that it properly supports ISDN service.

  • Wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop This is a designed 4-wire Loop that is provisioned according to industry standards for DS1 or Primary Rate ISDN services and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a DLR. A DS1 Loop may be provisioned over a variety of loop transmission technologies including copper, HDSL-based technology or fiber optic transport systems. It will include a 4-Wire DS1 Network Interface at the End User’s location.

  • Unbundled Loop Modifications (Line Conditioning 2.5.1 Line Conditioning is defined as routine network modification that BellSouth regularly undertakes to provide xDSL services to its own customers. This may include the removal of any device, from a copper Loop or copper Sub-loop that may diminish the capability of the Loop or Sub-loop to deliver high-speed switched wireline telecommunications capability, including xDSL service. Such devices include, but are not limited to, load coils, excessive bridged taps, low pass filters, and range extenders. Excessive bridged taps are bridged taps that serves no network design purpose and that are beyond the limits set according to industry standards and/or the XxxxXxxxx XX 00000.

  • Selection Based on Consultants’ Qualifications Services estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.1, 3.7 and 3.8 of the Consultant Guidelines.

  • Specified Roads “Specified Roads” are roads, including related transportation facilities and appurtenances, shown on Sale Area Map and listed in A7. Purchaser shall construct Specified Roads used under this contract. Construction initiated by Purchaser on any such Specified Road shall be completed to an agreed terminus that meets Purchaser’s needs and prevents unnecessary impact on National Forest resources. Construction to such terminus shall be in full accordance with Plans and specifications and the Schedule of Items identified in A7 or specifications attached hereto, except for agreed adjustments needed to accommodate such terminus. The "Schedule of Items" is a list and description of construction items, quantities, units of measure, methods of measurement, unit price, and total amount. Forest Service shall revise the Schedule of Items to show the estimated cost for the portion constructed to the revised terminus as a separate segment. A Temporary Road shall not be constructed substantially on the location for a Specified Road, except by agreement. In event of agreed substitution or revision of construction design, specifications, or performance responsibility under B5.212, B5.25, B5.26, or C5.215, A7 shall be modified. If Purchaser does not need a Specified Road or a portion of a Specified Road for harvesting Included Timber and the Specified Road is not constructed, the deletion of the road or road segment will be a mutually agreed Design Change and Timber Sale Account will be adjusted for the reduction in cost, as provided in B5.25. References in the contract to specifications, standards, or test methods adopted by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), General Services Administration (GSA), or other recognized national technical associations shall mean specifications, standards, or test methods, including interim or tentative issues, that are in effect on the date of timber sale advertisement.

  • Billing Increments Unless otherwise stated in a Service Order, usage-based charges will be billed on either a per-minute or per- message basis. Service calls invoiced on a per-minute basis will have an initial minimum call duration of one (1) minute, subsequent intervals of one (1) minute each, and will be billed by rounding to the next whole minute.
